About The Position

ProMedica Security Officers help ensure the safety of patients, visitors, and employees. They monitor facilities, assist people with directions, regulate traffic, enforce parking rules, and provide traffic control when needed. They investigate and report accidents, hazards, and incidents, and may restrain combative patients as needed. Officers must successfully complete required training and maintain current certifications. This summary describes the general nature and level of work and is not exhaustive.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license in the state of employment and a clean driving record, as demonstrated by an MVR, to qualify for coverage under the Company's insurance policy.
• Complete the Basic Security Officer Certification through IAHSS within six months of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in security or a related field.
• Prior security experience.
