About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer for a food and beverage production location in Lewiston Woodville, North Carolina. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting patrols, supporting access control, maintaining a visible presence, and providing customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel. The role is scheduled Mondays and Saturdays from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and pays $15.12 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to a background investigation and drug screen, as permitted by law. Licensing requirements may apply depending on state and local regulations.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while following security procedures and site policies.
- Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, shipping and receiving locations, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
- Verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials according to site-specific access procedures.
- Report potential hazards, damaged access controls, and unusual conditions to site management or Allied Universal leadership.
