About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a food and beverage production location in Saint Pauls, North Carolina. The role helps safeguard the site by managing access, monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, screening personnel and deliveries as required, conducting patrols, and responding to security concerns. The position requires a valid driver’s license.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $13.00 per hour. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles. Applicants are subject to background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, drug screening. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local rules.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific access-control procedures and policies and, when appropriate, responding to emergencies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue and collect visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-control records.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries as required.
• Report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, production-adjacent exterior areas, and the facility perimeter.
