About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a Waymo assignment at the 3700 block of Market Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The position pays $22.00 per hour, with multiple shifts available Monday through Sunday. Officers safeguard clients by following safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response procedures. The role includes responding calmly to incidents and critical situations and conducting regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, have at least one year of security experience, hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving history, and be able to work outdoors and stand and walk for extended periods.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least one year of security experience.
• Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving history.
• Be able to work outdoors in the elements.
• Be able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable law.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
