About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a position in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the 3200 block of South 61st Street. The role pays $19.00 per hour, with multiple shifts available Monday through Sunday. Security Officers safeguard clients by following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, providing customer service, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols. Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have at least one year of security experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving history.
• Must be able to work outdoors in the elements.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
