About The Position

Security Officer needed for a government building in Johnson City. The role pays $17.25 per hour and is full-time. The employee will provide access control, greet and log visitors, and conduct periodic indoor and outdoor rounds of the building on foot. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The employee must be able to cover extended hours, such as 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the first Monday and third Thursday, and may work additional hours depending on other variances.

Security Officers protect clients’ industrial or commercial properties against fire, vandalism, and illegal entry. Walden Security serves a range of clients, including office buildings, residential properties, distilleries, financial institutions, telecommunications companies, manufacturing facilities, and hospitals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Ability to work the stated Monday–Friday schedule and cover extended or additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Control access to the government building.
• Greet visitors and log their visits.
