About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Flexible Part Time Driver in Oregon, Ohio. The role provides reliable hours at an assigned utility-related industrial site, with a designated weekly shift requiring a six-month commitment. Officers may also claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the opportunity to vary hours up to 40 per week and scale back as needed. The role pays $21.11 per hour, with weekly pay. The listed schedule is Wednesday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a utility-related industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries according to site policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Complete activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
