About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer - Branch Patrol Driver in Gardena, California. The officer will safeguard clients by conducting routine vehicle and foot patrols across assigned locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, responding professionally to site needs, and providing customer service and clear communication. The role involves working independently at client sites where on-site facilities may be limited, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. The position pays $19.00 per hour. The schedule is overnight, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation and a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random vehicle and foot patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Maintain a visible security presence and respond professionally to site needs.
