About The Position

Nu Skin is hiring an as-needed, PRN Security Officer to help protect and secure its people, property, and proprietary information and assets. The officer completes classroom and field training to earn required security certifications, patrols the campus, monitors control center operations, responds to alarms and emergencies, and documents incidents. The role requires professional communication and conduct, discretion with confidential information, and the ability to work varied shifts throughout the year, including holidays.

Requirements

• Work courteously, caringly, and professionally with people while being able to enforce company policy.
• Communicate clearly, accurately, and concisely in spoken and written English using computers, notes, telephones, two-way radios, and verbal communication.
• Have digital literacy.
• Be able to give and follow orders.
• Have the physical ability to perform security assignments, including moving quickly, climbing stairs, and using good visual perception and hearing.
• Be able to work day, swing, and night shifts as needed, 365 days per year, including holidays.
• Meet professional grooming and security dress standards.
• Qualify for and maintain a corporate credit card.
• Have a positive demeanor and engage in teamwork.
• Hold a valid government-issued driver's license and have a clean driving record.
• Be able to walk 2–5 miles during a shift.
• Participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.
• A high school education is preferred; 0–2 years of work experience is stated.

Responsibilities

• Complete classroom training and testing to acquire core security certifications, including CPR/First Aid, Control Center, and Hazardous Materials certifications.
• Complete field and on-the-job training to acquire Nu Skin-specific security certifications and pass evaluation by a Field Training Officer.
• Patrol the campus to help ensure the safety and security of people, property, and information.
• Complete activity and incident reports documenting situations that may indicate a safety or security compromise.
• Respond to security emergencies and medical situations, take appropriate action, and inform management as appropriate.
• Monitor Control Center operations and respond appropriately.
• Secure exits, doors, and windows after operations end.
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation.
• Learn and remain current on Nu Skin policies and procedures.
• Assist injured or ill individuals in obtaining appropriate medical care.
• Respect and protect confidential, privileged, personal, and proprietary information.
