As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Examiner in Sauget, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure, welcoming environment by screening personnel, visitors, and materials in accordance with site procedures. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, report security-related concerns, and help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, deliveries, and personal items in accordance with site requirements, documenting and reporting irregularities through established procedures.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry into distribution and loading areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the distribution location, loading areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
