As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Records in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener supporting a dynamic technology data center location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel and visitors, monitoring access activity, and reporting security-related concerns. Your professionalism, customer service, and clear communication will help support smooth operations. Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess a college degree.
• Demonstrate a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a technology data center location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors for authorized access in accordance with site procedures, verifying credentials, identification, and access permissions before entry.
• Operate and monitor screening equipment and access-control systems, document screening activity, and promptly report irregularities or prohibited items according to site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and surrounding business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
