As a Security Officer Full Time - Site Monitor in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist employees, visitors, and vendors with exceptional customer service. Using clear communication and a caring, team-oriented approach, you will help create a welcoming environment while representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, delivery drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, vendor, and delivery credentials according to site-specific procedures and maintaining accurate activity logs.
Assist with monitoring shipments, trailer activity, and employee traffic in accordance with established security-related procedures, reporting discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
