About The Position

As a Security Officer - Site Detection Monitor in Blythewood, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed, and report observations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts.
Complete required reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
