Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol an assigned location, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response. Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access in accordance with site policies, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious behavior.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required documentation.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol records while communicating observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
