As a Security Officer Full Time Alarm Monitor in SAVANNAH, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and respond to alarm-related activity. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution center, including warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
