As a Security Officer Driver Alarm Panel Monitor in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving Security Officer supporting a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. You will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, respond to alarms, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of chemical and petrochemical facility areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
