About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed security officer for a food and beverage production location in Trenton, Ohio. The officer will help safeguard clients, visitors, and employees by providing customer service, carrying out site procedures, conducting patrols, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and documenting and communicating observations. The role is scheduled Monday through Thursday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and pays $20.00 per hour. No prior experience is required. Applicants are subject to background and drug screening as permitted by law; licensing may be required under applicable state or local rules.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following security procedures and site-specific policies.
Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site procedures and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, perimeter, parking areas, access points, and shipping and receiving areas.
Monitor access to designated areas and verify visitor and contractor authorization.
Report unusual conditions and unauthorized access attempts.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, and observations.
Communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
