About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a front-desk post at a financial institution in Dayton, Ohio. The officer will welcome visitors, manage and monitor access, and provide customer service and clear communication while helping maintain a professional and secure environment. The role is a stationary front-desk position and includes reporting security concerns and supporting daily operations. The schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 4:00 p.m. to midnight. Pay is $18.12 per hour, paid weekly.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at a financial institution front desk, following site procedures and security policies.
Greet and screen visitors; verify identification and appointments; issue visitor credentials; and maintain accurate entry records.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems from a stationary front-desk post, and report unusual activity or access concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations according to emergency response procedures.
Communicate with site contacts, employees, and Allied Universal leadership about daily activities, incidents, and service needs.
