About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer - Part Time Weekend Driver in Lima, Ohio. In this unarmed patrol role at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help safeguard employees, visitors, and the site by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access, and supporting a secure environment. The position requires driving and a valid driver’s license. Officers are expected to provide customer service and communicate clearly while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven culture. The position pays $20.50 per hour, with weekly pay. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site procedures and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter.
Monitor site access by checking credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and documenting entry and exit information.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation.
Communicate observations and concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
