About The Position

As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location in Anchorage, Alaska, you will safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and communication. You will respond to concerns, document activities, and work collaboratively with site personnel while representing Allied Universal’s values. This is a full-time mobile patrol role paying $21.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday, Thursday, and Saturday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while following site-specific procedures and policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, public areas, parking facilities, and surrounding perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, credential verification, and giving directions in accordance with site requirements.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and public emergency services as needed.
Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations in clear, accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
