About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location in San Marcos, California, you will help safeguard clients and serve visitors and personnel. This mobile patrol driving role includes routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and reporting security-related concerns. The role requires strong communication, customer service, and professionalism. The position pays $20.70 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements and for driving positions.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, personnel, and the public while following site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established reporting and notification procedures.
Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and other security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with site requirements.
