About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Management in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The position provides consistent hours at an assigned site, with the option to claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform. The designated site and weekly anchor shift require a six-month commitment. Employees may work part-time hours or pick up shifts to increase their hours, with opportunities to build toward a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week and the option to scale back. The listed rate is $14.50 per hour, paid weekly.

The role involves customer service and security procedures, access management, incident response, patrols, and maintaining accurate reports. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local rules.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, access control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access by verifying credentials, screening visitors, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow site procedures, and escalate concerns as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security concerns.
• Maintain clear, accurate reports of access activity, incidents, and security-related observations in accordance with site requirements.
