About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned site in Breinigsville, Pennsylvania. The role provides a designated weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Employees can vary their hours, with the opportunity to build up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The worksite is a food and beverage production location with limited on-site facilities, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. The scheduled shift is Wednesday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The pay rate is $15.25 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license only if applying for a driving position.

Nice To Haves

• Prior customer service experience, including handling inquiries and complaints, providing information and support, and communicating professionally and empathetically.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet for email, relevant software, and online communication and collaboration platforms; candidates may be asked to complete a basic computer skills assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access at designated entry points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, issue credentials as directed, and maintain accurate access-related logs.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle, delivery, and employee traffic according to site procedures, and report unusual activity or access concerns.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established escalation and emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and surrounding property to deter unauthorized access and identify security concerns.
