About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer for a commercial real estate location in Atlanta, Georgia. The role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, supporting access control, and assisting visitors and tenants. Officers use computer or tablet tools to document activity and communicate important information while providing customer service. The stated pay rate is $22.00 per hour. The schedule lists Monday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, if required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property areas, including building exteriors, entrances, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor for unusual activity, access concerns, maintenance-related hazards, and other conditions requiring notification or escalation under site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, document observations, and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
Support access control by observing entry and exit activity, assisting authorized visitors, and helping deter unauthorized access.
