About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer in Woodbridge, Virginia, to serve and safeguard clients at a retail and entertainment location. The officer monitors assigned areas, conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, supports access control and badge processing, assists guests and team members, and provides customer service and communication. The role is scheduled for Tuesday and Friday from 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM, Saturday from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and Sunday from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM. The pay rate is $23.09 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, consistent with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols in public areas, gaming and entertainment spaces, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location.
Report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation in accordance with company and site-specific requirements.
