About The Position

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal in Boca Raton, Florida, you will help safeguard clients and maintain a welcoming, controlled environment. The role involves monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing badge access, responding to security-related concerns, conducting patrols, deterring incidents, and providing customer service and communication. The position is full time and pays $19.00 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Monday and Tuesday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years old.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor and control access by verifying credentials, documenting visitor entry and exit, and following established access-control procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site-specific protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, and report unusual conditions or access-control concerns.
