About The Position

As a full-time Security Officer in Badge Administration at a logistics and distribution location in Earth City, Missouri, you will help manage badge access, monitor entry points, and support a welcoming, controlled environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and communication. The role serves and safeguards clients in industries including logistics and distribution.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorized entry, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
Control access for commercial vehicles and personnel entering and exiting the facility in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
