Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, issuing temporary access credentials, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic at entry and exit points, follow established procedures for delivery drivers and shipments, and report unusual activity or access concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including access points, loading areas, and the business perimeter, and complete accurate activity and incident reports.
