About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer Patrol to support a healthcare location in Indianapolis, Indiana. The officer will serve and safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible presence, responding to security-related concerns, and providing customer service and communication. The role involves working overnight hours on Monday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor, patient, and staff directions while maintaining awareness of restricted areas and access procedures.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, healthcare personnel, and emergency responders.
