About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer Full Patrol Driver to serve and safeguard clients at a healthcare location in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. The officer conducts patrols and maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents while supporting a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, staff, and vendors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, clear communication, and a calm, professional approach to incidents and emergencies.

The position pays $22.45 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Employment conditions include a background investigation and a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require age 21 or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to healthcare facility staff, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and facility information, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation in accordance with site requirements.
