Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and location protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned areas, including operational spaces, restricted zones, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed, and report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact.
  • Prepare clear reports on incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and communicate with Allied Universal leaders and location personnel regarding security-related matters.
