About The Position

As a Security Officer for an operation center in El Paso, Texas, you will safeguard clients at a financial institution. In an access-control role, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and responding to security-related concerns. A professional presence and clear communication will help deter incidents while providing service to clients, employees, and visitors. The position is full-time and pays $17.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access by verifying identification and visitor credentials, issuing access badges, and maintaining visitor records according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations, escalating them according to established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and the perimeter.
Accurately document daily activities, access-control events, incidents, and unusual observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership or emergency responders.
