About The Position

As a full-time Security Officer in Boca Raton, Florida, you will serve and safeguard clients at a residential community. You will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying visitor and resident access, responding to security-related concerns, providing professional customer service, and supporting routine patrols to help deter incidents. The scheduled shifts are Thursday through Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $15.76 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations, and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while following site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor residential community entry and exit points, verify visitor, vendor, and delivery authorization, and document access activity according to site procedures.
• Operate access-control systems, gates, intercoms, and related equipment; communicate with residents and authorized contacts regarding visitor access.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community grounds, common areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
