About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Identity Verification in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional, customer-focused presence at the front desk of a financial institution, following site-specific policies and security-related procedures.
• Greet visitors, employees, and vendors; verify authorization, manage visitor registration, issue access credentials, and direct guests appropriately.
• Monitor access activity and maintain accurate visitor, package, and incident records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Support a welcoming, orderly lobby environment while helping to deter unauthorized access and reporting security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
