About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Salisbury, North Carolina, you will serve and safeguard clients, employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support a secure environment, follow site-specific procedures, and provide exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal’s values.

Requirements

Have at least one year of security-related experience.
Possess a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations, which may be required before employment.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, production support spaces, offices, parking areas, and the property perimeter to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site policies.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Document observations, incidents, patrol activities, and security-related concerns through clear and timely reports.
