As a Security Officer Full Time State Issued Unarmed Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help support a welcoming, secure environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, operational areas, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access to assigned locations, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized activity, suspicious conditions, and policy violations through established channels.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
