As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and building staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout commercial property common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
