About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for an armed patrol and credential-custodian assignment at a government facility in Atlanta, Georgia. The position provides a fixed weekly anchor shift at an assigned site, requiring a six-month commitment. The posted schedule is Monday, 11:00 AM–8:00 PM. In addition to the assigned shift, officers may claim extra shifts through the scheduling platform, with the option to vary their hours and work up to 40 hours per week. The role is intended for candidates seeking part-time work with consistent base hours and flexibility to take on additional shifts.

The officer provides customer service while carrying out site security procedures, conducts armed patrols, monitors access, responds to incidents and alarms, and completes required documentation. Employment is contingent on applicable background and drug screening requirements, and officers must participate in industry-specific security training.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at government facilities while carrying out security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations, following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, grounds, access points, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access, verify authorized entry as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Complete activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation according to company and site requirements.
