As a Security Officer Full Time Clinical Security in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Healthcare Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a hospital location, helping to maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, support access-related procedures, respond to security-related situations, and provide compassionate customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
  • Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
  • Have at least two years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations involving patients, visitors, or staff.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
  • Assist with access control, visitor management, and directions while maintaining a professional and courteous presence.
  • Document incidents, observations, and activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervisors.
