As a Security Officer Full Time Morgue Security in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a healthcare Security Officer, supporting a caring environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, assist with access control, and respond professionally to healthcare-related situations. Requirements

  • Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Possess at least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • Be willing to meet vaccination requirements for hospital assignments.
  • Be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
  • Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established facility protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Assist with access control, visitor management, and the direction of patients and visitors while maintaining a professional presence in a healthcare setting.
