About The Position

As a Security Officer - Zone Coverage Driver in Phoenix, Arizona, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries. In this unarmed patrol role, you will drive between assigned locations to conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and respond to situations with integrity.

This is a full-time position paying $19.00 per hour. The listed schedule is 7:00 PM–5:00 AM on Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Drive to conduct routine patrols across assigned locations, maintain a visible presence, and report security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with visitors and staff.
