About The Position

The Security Officer supports facility safety at Canopy by Hilton Sioux Falls Downtown and helps deliver memorable guest experiences. The role monitors hotel premises, assists with incident investigations and reporting, responds to emergencies, and provides professional assistance to guests.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols of interior and exterior hotel premises to identify and address safety and security risks, threats, and undesirable conditions.
• Conduct preliminary incident investigations, gather relevant information, document findings, and ensure accurate incident reporting.
• Prepare and maintain accurate security reports and records.
• Assist in responding to safety hazards, fires, medical incidents, and security threats.
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently.
