Requirements

Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21+ years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and report maintenance, lighting, and access concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points, verify authorized access when required, and report unusual activity, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations.
Support daily operations by preparing clear reports, maintaining an active presence throughout the location, and assisting occupants and guests with security-related questions and directions.
