About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Emergency Patrol Security Officer in South Bend, Indiana, you will help safeguard clients at a logistics-focused location. You will maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, conduct routine patrols, report observations, respond to incidents, and provide customer service and clear communication. Work is scheduled Friday and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The position pays $18.20 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements that may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conduct emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Maintain a visible presence, report observations, and help deter security-related incidents.
