About The Position
As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Reconciliation in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will communicate professionally with employees, contractors, and visitors while supporting site access procedures and responding to security-related concerns. Requirements
- Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
- Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
- Be 21 years of age or older.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials, authorizations, and visitor documentation before permitting entry to restricted areas.
- Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and/or delivery records in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established channels as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
