About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer for a healthcare location in Sylvania, Ohio. The officer will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by maintaining a visible presence, patrolling assigned areas, monitoring access points, and responding professionally to security concerns. The role is scheduled Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and pays $20.69 per hour. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following security procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond calmly to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, follow established procedures, and notify appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and vendor activity according to site-specific access-control procedures.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, and unusual occurrences, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
