About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer to safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role involves providing customer service while following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, responding calmly to incidents, and conducting regular and random patrols of the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The position pays $23.00 per hour and is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Requirements

• At least one year of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Pass a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
