About The Position

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients in industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role involves providing customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Officers respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and use problem-solving skills. The position includes regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday overnight, and the pay rate is $23.00 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
