About The Position

Securitas is seeking to hire Armed Security Officers, Licensed Security Officers, and Event Officers. These positions are responsible for observing and reporting activities and incidents at assigned client sites, ensuring the security and safety of client property and personnel. The role involves frequent sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods, potentially including climbing stairs and navigating uneven terrain. Physical requirements may include lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally. Securitas is committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in the workplace.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of security experience.
Must be available to work weekends.
Must have a flexible schedule.
Must be able to cover all assigned events and shifts as needed.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must pass a lifetime background and drug test.
Valid Driver's license.
High School Diploma or GED.
Must have excellent communication skills and be professional.
Professional appearance: Visible body piercing accessories or visible tattoos are not permitted, unless authorized.
Must have excellent Customer Service skills.
Must pass our drug screen and background check.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
