As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, with responsibilities that may include mobile patrols and responsive support. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, service calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor public areas and access points, assist with crowd and visitor inquiries, and support orderly movement throughout the location in accordance with posted rules and site expectations.
  • Complete routine reports, note maintenance or security-related concerns, and communicate observed issues to supervisors and/or designated personnel for follow-up.
